Daniel Blottenberger has spent over two decades shaping and delivering communications for government agencies. He currently serve as Deputy Communications Director for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, where he helps share the stories of Pennsylvania’s farmers, agribusinesses, and agricultural initiatives. Before joining PDA, Daniel served as a Public Affairs Specialist with both the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. military, including three years as a reporter for the Stars and Stripes European edition.
A U.S. Army veteran and native of Annapolis, Maryland, Daniel deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in American Studies from Universität Heidelberg, and an MBA in International Business from Schiller International University. Daniel currently serves as the secretary for the PRSA Central PA Chapter.
