The Kenneth G. Robinson, APR, Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the incredible career and legacy of Ken Robinson — a true leader in the field of Communications who dedicated his life to storytelling, crisis management, and mentoring future PR pros.

A champion of the industry, Ken served as president of PRSA’s Central Pennsylvania Chapter and held many roles within the Pennsylvania Public Relations Society. His accolades include the Ernest McDowell Award for Excellence in PR and the Frederick E. Leuschner Award, among others. He was also accredited in Public Relations (APR) by PRSA.

Despite his many achievements, Ken had one regret—never completing his Communications degree. He came close, but left Penn State just a few credits shy.

This scholarship ensures that future Communications students won’t have to share that regret. It supports students in reaching their academic goals, empowering them to follow in Ken’s inspiring footsteps.

The Kenneth G. Robinson, APR, Memorial Scholarship will provide opportunities to rising or current undergraduate students attending Pennsylvania colleges or universities who are civic-minded and require tuition assistance to continue their education in the communications or public relations fields. It is jointly sponsored by the members of the Pennsylvania Public Relations Society and Public Relations Society of America-Central PA Chapter.
