Kelley is the founder of KMMK Communications, a public relations, marketing, and communications agency based in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton region.
Through her work, she services a variety of businesses but especially looks to help nonprofit organizations raise sustainable funding through content marketing, fundraising, and event planning services.
Kelly has been a member of PRSA since 2015. In addition to working on social media content for the Central PA chapter, she serves as Communications Chair for PRSA’s Independent Practitioners Alliance (IPA) section and is an active participant in the section’s twice-weekly IndieChats.
Prior to working in public relations, she was a sports journalist at the Standard-Speaker newspaper in Hazleton for nearly 14 years.
Her greatest joy in her communications career has been in helping people feel heard and giving a voice to those who need it most.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys volunteering. She has been a volunteer with the American Cancer Society for nearly 20 years and helps in numerous ways at her church. She also loves spending time with her family and friends, especially her dogs, Bruty and Oscar, and her cat, Grover, and cheering on her beloved Duke Blue Devils and Buffalo Bills.
